The Jewelry Supply Network was founded by Alissa Smith of Shop Wrenn and The Crafty Wrenn — a long-time jewelry maker and creative entrepreneur with over 16 years of experience in the jewelry industry. From making and selling handmade jewelry to designing collections for high-end boutiques, and even building a jewelry supply company, Alissa has experienced firsthand how challenging it can be to find trustworthy suppliers.

From metalsmithing materials to permanent jewelry, finding reliable vendors often meant years of trial and error — or discovering them by chance at gem shows across the country. After attending those shows for years and curating a personal list of trusted suppliers, Alissa realized many makers were missing out on these hidden gems since they were not always easy to find online.
